Musical Summer on The Costa Del Sol

ROCK THE COAST

The first edition of this brand new festival will be held on 14th and 15th June 2019 in Fuengirola, in the spectacular Marenostrum Music Castle Park, located right on the beach. Rock the Coast will be offering two main outdoor stages and a third one inside of the magical Sohail Castle. The festival will be headlined by the legendary Scorpions on Friday and iconic Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow on Saturday. Other star bands such as Opeth, Europe, UFO  and many others will also be present.

COSTA DEL SOUL

Another premiere festival this year will be touring 3 cities on the Costa del Sol offering dozens of international bands who will perform 27 concerts on three simultaneous stages: Plaza Ortiz and the Paseo Marítimo in Estepona, the Plaza del al Mezquita de Benalmádena and the Paseo Marítimo de Rincón de la Victoria.  The Costa del Soul will be welcoming the summer from June 21st to June 23rd, just before the special traditional night of San Juan. The dates, together with free entry to all the concerts, will guarantee a successful event.

OJEANDO FESTIVAL

Ojeando Festival will return to Malaga’s Ojén village in 2019 on 28th and 29th June. The festival, currently its twelfth edition takes place in the historical center of the picturesque white washed Andalusian village on the outskirts of Marbella. The best of Indy pop-rock can be enjoyed here, in idyllic surroundings. Ojeando celebrates the best underground musicians from Málaga, you probably have not heard play on the radio.

ROD STEWART

The British singer and song writer with a distinct raspy voice and dyed blonde hair style became famous in late 60’ and early 70’ and he maintained a solo career alongside a group career. Rod Steward is considered a rock singer although his music was inspired by various genres such as folk, soul and R&B. This Grammy and Brit Award winner will be performing on 3rd of July in the Sohail Castle in Fuengirola. Do not miss the opportunity to enjoy one of the greatest singers of all time on the Costa del Sol.

TORRE DEL MAR WEEKEND BEACH FESTIVAL

The VI edition of the Torre del Mar Weekend Beach Festival will be held between 3rd and 6th July 2019 in its usual seaside location. During the festival days, the small beachfront town in the Malaga province will become one of the hottest musical destinations in the world. In the past, the festival hosted such names as the Prodigy, The Offspring and Bunbury. It is expected that 2019s headliners Black Eyed Peas, Ska-P, Ozuna and Laurent Garnier will ensure last year’s attendance of 140.000 weekenders once again.

LOS ÁLAMOS BEACH

The fifth anniversary of this successful festival will be held from July 31st to August 4th, returning to Estepona, one of the most popular touristic locations on the Costa del Sol with beautiful beaches and promenade lined with palm trees. Los Álamos Beach showcases electronic mainstream and underground artists. This year the festival will host over 30 performers and the organizers promise that the 2019 edition will exceed the last year attendance of 70.000 people.

JACKSONS

Michael Jackson’s brothers Jermaine, Tito, Jackie y Marlon will offer a concert on August 8th in an extraordinary venue, the Puente Romano Tennis Club on The Golden Mile. Apart from remembering the 10th anniversary of Michael’s death, they will also celebrate the 50th anniversary of the birth of the Jackson Five. In 1988, Michael Jackson’s memorable concert in Marbella included a medley of the great successes of the Jackson Five.

STARLITE FESTIVAL

A unique music festival concept taking place in the old quarry of Nagueles, in the mountain behind Marbella town.
