Time to Visit the Property You Have Been Keeping an Eye on

COVID-19 has not stopped investors planning to purchase luxury appartments and villas in Costa del Sol. In fact, interest from foreigners is more noticeable than ever. During lockdown, there’s been more time for online property searches. Virtual tours have been very helpful in discovering unique properties. Many of Spain’s restrictions have finally been lifted. It’s now safe for you to come to Marbella to view your favourite villas and appartments. But there are still some rules to obey.

Which Countries Can You Travel from?

Spain is now welcoming vaccinated tourists and property investors from the United Kingdom, the EU and the Schengen area. From early June, visitors who are fully vaccinated can come from many locations around the world. Before you travel, it’s important to check for any last minute alterations regarding acceptable countries. You’ll also need to check for quarantine restrictions when returning to your own country.

Health Requirements

When you come to Marbella, you’ll need to bring an official Health Control Form (HCF). This is very easy to require from Spain Travel Health. There’s also a convenient mobile app in both Android and iOS formats. You must provide an electronic signature. In return, you’ll receive a QR code. Each person has to show their unique code when they arrive in Marbella. You’ll also need to bring an adequate supply of face masks.

Taking a COVID-19 Test

In case you are not vaccinated, seventy-two hours before you are due to travel to Costa del Sol, you must take a COVID-19 (SARS-COV-2) test. Acceptable versions include TMA and PCR (RT-PCR). You can only travel if your test result is negative. If you think you have COVID-19 symptoms you must not travel to any destination. When you come to Marbella you will be asked for your test result. If you’ve failed to take a COVID-19 test, you’ll have to pay a fine. This can range from 3,001 to 60,000 Euros. When arriving in Malaga health officials will also check your temperature. It needs to be less than 37.5°C (99.5°F) and you should also appear in good health.

Is Life back to Normal in Andalucia?

Many restrictions have already been lifted. Since 9th May, there have been no curfews, severely limited social gatherings or lockdowns. When you arrive in Marbella to view properties, you’ll find life is almost back to normal.
