Aloha
This championship eighteen-hole course is in Nueva Andalucia’s Golf Valley. It has been the location of three PGA Tours. The first Tour in 2007 was won by Lee Westwood who set a course record of 64 par. Aloha was established in 1975. The challenging parkland course was designed by Javier Arana. It includes extensive woodlands that blend perfectly with the natural landscape. You can also enjoy wonderful views of the Mediterranean Sea and La Concha mountain. The course has a traditional layout covering a distance of 6,882 yards (6,293 metres). Aloha is also noted for its friendly atmosphere and busy social life.

Las Brisas
This exclusive eighteen-hole course opened in 1968 to complement the new town of Puerto Banús. It has hosted many prestigious events including the World Cup of 1973 and 1989. The Spanish Open was also played here in 1983 and 1987. Famous players who have enjoyed tackling the fairways include Jack Nicklaus, Nick Faldo and Spain’s Severiano Ballesteros. The attractive, parkland course was designed by the accomplished golf architect, Robert Trent Jones Senior. He included many challenging features such as beautiful lakes and elevated greens surrounded by sand bunkers. Las Brisas is only an eighteen-minute drive from Marbella.

Finca Cortesin
Three Volvo World Match Championships have been played at this beautiful course between 2009 and 2012. It is also the venue for the forthcoming Solheim Cup in 2023 when a European team will compete against American golfers. Finca Cortesin was designed by Cabell B. Robinson in 2005. It is in a wonderful location near Casares. You can enjoy magnificent views of the Sierra Blanca Mountain range and the Mediterranean Sea. The course is one of the longest at 7,306 yards (6,434 metres). It has been planted with environmentally-friendly Bermuda grass. You’ll need to practice your most accurate shots to avoid obstacles of water and rough.

Real Club de Golf Guadalmina
Guadalmina is one of the most established golf clubs in Marbella. The site was originally farmland before being transformed into two eighteen-hole, parkland courses in 1959. The South Course is the oldest. It features Javier Arana’s spacious fairways that are positioned beside the beach overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The North Course was completed in 1973 by Folco Nardi and includes dense woodland and lakes. Many exciting tournaments have been held here. They include the Spanish Championship of 1965, the PGA Championship of 1998 and the Andalucian Cup of 2015. Guadalmina was awarded Royal status in 2008 by King Juan Carlos.

Valderrama
Robert Trent Jones Senior was commissioned to design this remarkable eighteen-hole course in 1974. He built many of the magnificent fairways around the local woodlands. They include over two thousand ancient cork trees that date from the fifteenth century. Obstacles include water, bunkers and naturally sloping terrain. Valderrama is regarded as one of the best courses in Costa del Sol and presents many difficult challenges for players. The course length is 6,951 yards (6,356 metres). The club has hosted many championships including the Ryder Cup of 1997, several Volvo Masters Championships beginning in 1988 and the Spanish Open of 2016.
