Marbella known as the Costa del Sols second largest capital city has an extremely diverse real estate market and is known worldwide for its luxury and exclusivity. For this type of buyer, there are two main types of products that predominate; luxury homes and private mansions, better known as penthouses and villas. Recently we have spoken about the decisions that buyers are presented with when choosing to buying a property; apartments versus villas. Here we will delve a little deeper into the characteristic differences that penthouses have that make them exclusive and the types of villa that are currently in high demand.

The real estate market continues to maintain an upward pace, implying a growth of properties for investors; for this reason the most exclusive clients, in addition to finding a property that they can enjoy, look for profitability and purchasing within the luxury market is always a shore thing. When comparing prices during the global economic crisis the most affected market with the most varied prices was in properties that had a value of under half a million euros.
