SWIMMING POOLS

An essential part of a beach home, even if the property is near or next to the sea, sometimes you don’t feel like going to the beach or if the wind is blowing from the opposite direction that may also put you off a day at the beach. Don’t miss a day in the sun because you don’t have a swimming pool to go to.  Villas typically have a private swimming pool, impressive designs with salt water to avoid having to use chlorine, infinity pools perfectly complementing the horizon or natural pools that manage to merge with the environment. If you want to invest in an apartment complex on the beach, keep in mind and take a look at the communal areas. Many residential complexes have great swimming pools such as Los Granados in Puerto Banús, some apartments even have a private pool. Another of the most exclusive options is to have an artificial beach in your own garden.

Practically all Marbella properties have them, since they allow us to enjoy hours of sun and make the most of outdoor living. The important thing about these spaces, besides the size, is how we furnish and finish them to be able to enjoy the most. Having your own area to relax in by the sea is another advantage of investing in an apartment or house on the beach. To read, rest or simply contemplate the landscape or lose yourself in your thoughts. Creating your own relaxation corner at home is a luxury available to everyone; you don’t need much space, choosing your peaceful area and transforming it to your individual needs. You must be careful, sometimes when these spaces are beautifully presented and inviting they can become the best of entertaining areas and no longer are that special place for you to enjoy by yourself. GARDENS

Green spaces bring serenity and are calming, if you have the possibility in your new house to have a garden area we highly recommend it. Green areas bring us closer to nature, so whether you decide on a villa or apartment, having green areas in the home are very important. Complexes such as Sierra Blanca and Cascada de Camoján, or some beachfront villas on the Golden Mile have some of the most impressive gardens in the city. This is also true for apartment complexes such as Los Granados, Dama de Noche etc… They are also great areas if you have children, as you can find play-areas (depending on the children’s age) they may include slides, swings, Wendy houses etc and do not go out of fashion.

SUN BATHING AREAS

In many of the places aforementioned, you could find an area dedicated to sunbathing and achieving that perfect tan. Tanning is one of the most visible features that lets us know you’ve spent time on the beach, so finding a place your own property and quiet and private area where you can relax while sunbathing would be the last on our essentials list.
